Child Protection System Strengthening in Afghanistan

HTAC has been selected as implementing partner by Save the Children for implementation of “Holistic and Community-based Child Protection System Strengthening in Afghanistan” in Sar-e-Pul and Jawzjan provinces. The ooverall objective for this initiative is that strengthened child protection prevention initiatives and quality access to child protection response services reduce instances of violence,
exploitation and neglect of children. Specifically, the program aims to strengthen child protection systems at the national, provincial, district and community level to protect children at risk of abuse, exploitation, violence and neglect. This a three year program started date on 1st September 2016 ending 30th September 2019, HTAC will support and train an estimated total beneficiaries 7745 (3,860 in Sar-e-Pul and 3885 in Jawzjan) including Children, teachers & school authorities, parents & caregivers, CBCPNs, DCPANS and CPANs.
